What are the options?

The various choices for dining include preparing meals at home, dining at the neighbour hotel.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Pots, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. There is a refrigerator with a small freezer, a microwave and a four-burner gas stove. A mini barbecue can also be provided upon request.

Cooking oil, coffee and tea are provided, as well as dishwashing liquid. If you want to cook for yourself, it is best to get some provisions in advance in Rwamagana (about a 30  minute drive from here). In Rwamagana you can find grocery stores and a large market which is also open on Sundays. In and around the area, there is a market about 4 km away open every Thursday and Saturday and at about 8 km away there is a roadside fruit and vegetable market which is open everyday.

You can go to our neighbour “Muhazi Beach hotel” for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There you will enjoy some deliciously prepared fresh fish with a stunning view of the lake. 

Upon request, a cook can be provided to prepare meals.

The water from the taps is not potable. We provide a supply of potable water in each kitchen.
